Somebody asked me the question the other day, “How do I stay more present in my day?”
I love that question because what I know is that we tend to live in either two different realms. Some people tend to live in the past, where we’re regretting things that we said, what we did or didn’t do, and we’re constantly feeling that remorse or that regret about the past. And other people tend to live more in the future, where we’re just plowing through our days and our to-do lists, and on to the next thing.
Today I am giving you five ways to feel better in your mind, your body, and your soul.
February can be a tough month with the winter blues, especially this year as we are navigating the pandemic, and so I thought it would be fun to offer you five things that you can do to start to really feel better and stronger in your mind, your body, and your soul.
Do you feel obligated when somebody asks you to do something, or to help, that you automatically say yes? Then you’re left feeling burnt out, tired, or there’s not enough time to do the things that you would really love? Maybe you are even feeling resentful towards that person and you start to even maybe resent yourself? (“Why do I always do this?”) But yet here you are, unable to say no.
Today I want to share with you how you can say no and still feel good.
Whether you’re single and trying to call in that relationship in your life, or if you already have a partner and you would like to deepen that relationship; maybe some of those relationships in your life have gone on autopilot and you’re ready to really deepen the intimacy and the connection so that you can have greater joy in your life, this exercise here is for you. I have found this exercise to be very helpful for clients that I’ve worked with who are trying to either call in that relationship in their life, or deepen an existing relationship.
Have you experimented with affirmations? Have you had success with them or have them become something stuck to your bathroom mirror that you don’t even see anymore? What exactly are affirmations, how do you use them properly so they actually WORK (because if saying words alone worked, we would all be successful!), and I give you two very powerful affirmations from both Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich, as well as a favourite one that I use – all in this week’s 5 minute video!
Have you ever been caught in a spiral where it seems like nothing is going right for you? There is a principle called “Stacking” that explains this compounding effect, and the good news is, there is a way to reset this and shift your circumstances using the Law of Attraction!
A question that came to me from one of you was “Should we have a backup to our dream or our vision?” And I love this question because how many times have we heard “What’s your backup plan? What’s plan B?”
I wanted to share what my perspective on having a backup plan is.
Where are you holding back, or not performing at your best?Where are you waiting for something to be different so you can then give your all to that project, that initiative, to that relationship?
What are you waiting for right now?
There is so much power when we come together collectively with a common…
