Do you have a belief that you are too old to follow your dreams, or to start something new?
I recently reconnected with Lisa, a past client, and she described her life before we worked together. Lisa said, “I believed that if I hadn’t accomplished what I wanted in my life at 40, I might as will not even live. The feeling was ‘you are a loser, you haven’t done anything with your life, you don’t come close to anyone’s expectations.’ Now in my 50’s, I was depressed, in a dark despair and not knowing how to move forward.”
After working together for some time, initially seeing baby steps of improvement, we started to celebrate great leaps in Lisa’s life. Today, she is feeling physically fit and loving her body after shedding 28 pounds and keeping it off, recently retired, and has moved to Arizona to marry the man of her dreams! (Check out that smile!). All of that once seemed IMPOSSIBLE to Lisa and now it’s her life.
No matter what age or stage you are, you have unlived life inside of you. I know that there is ALWAYS more for you, something that you think about and your spirit quickens, there is an excitement about it that lights you up.
We are meant to grow and evolve. Have you ever heard the saying, “You’re either green and growing, or ripe and rotting”? This applies to every age and stage of life. Which are you?
That’s why, at the end of the conversation with Lisa, she said she needed to get back to the drawing board to create a NEW vision, to start dreaming up what is next for her! Even though she is living the vision she dreamt up, she knows the value in having that vision and the growing and expansion it would bring to her life.
Her story began at a Vision Workshop just like the one I am hosting on January 23. Creating this crystal clear vision is the fundamental piece where everyone starts when they want to achieve a goal or dream. Something was nudging her to be there that she said yes to. Are you feeling that nudge? Get your ticket today and spend the day with me on January 23 taking the first step.
Here’s to you living a life you love,
Stacey
