Pay attention. Is there a step you are avoiding that would move you in the direction of your dream?
Have you been asking yourself “How do I grow my business?” “How do I reach this goal?” “What does business growth look like?” “How do I go from where I am to where I want to be?” “How do I break through this plateau?” By implementing this process and by taking action on those steps you will absolutely see growth in your business.
Our paradigm, or comfort zone, doesn’t want you to move forward. It doesn’t want you to take that big bold step. It will delay you, distract you, dissuade you, or get you busy doing other things. That gravitational pull back to the familiar will keep you repeating the same patterns over and over and over again.
These are a really important series of questions that you want to get in the habit of asking yourself if you want to achieve your goals and your dreams. Make curiosity your best friend and it will help you really uncover the things and the steps and the actions you can be taking to move you towards your goal and your dreams.
-
Right now, ask yourself, “what am I currently not doing that would absolutely move me in the direction of my dream?” Does something come to mind?
-
Now ask yourself, “Am I willing to do that thing?” By asking yourself that, what you’re doing is you’re getting that subconscious buy-in with a yes to that. Yes, I’m willing.
-
And then the question is “By when?” We don’t just want to leave it out there with a “Yeah I’ll do that sometime, someday, maybe next week when I have the time.” This is a really grounding question. So, precisely, by when? Is it Tuesday at three o’clock? Are you doing that today at noon?
-
And then put it in your calendar. When we put the action step in our calendars, it acts like a grounding wire to really connect you to taking that action step and stay committed.
By using this system and process on an ongoing basis, it’s going to move you forward faster and you’ll start to see results quicker.
We fall into these rhythms of the action steps that we’re taking, when we’re growing our businesses, when we’re working on our goals, and we tend to do the same things over and over again.
If you’re ready to grow your business, if you’re ready to reach new results, intentionally ask these questions and put your action steps into your calendar. It produces consistent results and will help you to grow.
So what step can you be taking that you’re not currently taking that’s going to help you grow your business or help you achieve that goal? Am I willing to do that? If so, by when? And then put it in your calendar and make sure you’re serving that idea with action.
And as you do that on a consistent basis you will absolutely see results!
To you living a life you love,
Stacey
